District Magistrate Inspects Development Works on Noon River, Orders Strict Action for Negligence

Jalaun, March 22:

District Magistrate Rajesh Kumar Pandey conducted a ground inspection of development works in the Noon River area, visiting the village of Sathoh. During his visit, he reviewed previous tree plantation efforts and observed the growth of Harishankari plants, expressing satisfaction with their development. He praised this initiative as a commendable step towards environmental conservation.

While inspecting the ongoing construction of a bridge on the Sathoh-Amitha road over the Noon River, the District Magistrate expressed strong dissatisfaction over delays and quality issues in the construction work. He emphasized that any negligence or decline in quality related to public interest projects would not be tolerated.

On-site, he directed immediate action against the concerned Junior Engineer (JE) and Assistant Engineer (AE) from the Public Works Department. He also issued a stern warning to the executing agency to complete the construction work promptly and in accordance with standards.

The District Magistrate stated that ensuring the quality of development works is the administration’s top priority. He warned that strict action would be taken against any officials found negligent at any level. He instructed the relevant authorities to maintain regular oversight, ensure transparency, and complete tasks in a timely manner so that the public can benefit from safe and sustainable facilities.
