Udaipur, March 25: Applications are now open for the prestigious Padma Awards, which honor exceptional contributions in various fields across the country. These awards include Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri.
The Padma Awards are conferred for outstanding services in areas such as art, social work, folk traditions, science and engineering, trade and industry, medicine, literature and education, sports, and public service.
According to the Cabinet Secretariat, applications for the Padma Awards to be presented on Republic Day 2027 will be accepted online. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) website. The deadline for submissions is July 31, and it is mandatory for the proposals to be recommended by the respective District Collector.
