Jaipur, March 31: Dr. Rameshchandra Agarwal, the regional head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), has made a significant statement regarding population balance, advocating for families to have three or more children. He mentioned that RSS Chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat recently addressed this topic from a scientific perspective. According to Agarwal, there is a noticeable decline in the Hindu population, which could lead to future imbalances and various social issues. He proposed that a minimum of three children per family should be the standard, with four to five children also being acceptable.
Dr. Agarwal clarified that the RSS is not opposed to caste-based census. He stated that if caste enumeration is conducted for better governance and policy-making, the RSS has no objections. However, if it is used to divide society, the organization will oppose it.
Additionally, he provided insights into organizational changes within the RSS in Rajasthan. The current structure, which includes the Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Chittorgarh provinces, will be replaced with a divisional system that will introduce new divisions such as Kota and Bikaner.
Dr. Agarwal highlighted the rapid expansion of the RSS in Rajasthan, noting that organizational activities are currently taking place in approximately 7,910 locations across the state. There are a total of 12,109 branches and 5,950 meetings being held. He emphasized that the RSS is actively engaging in various sectors of society and is continuously working to strengthen the organization.
