Udaipur, April 5: The new chapter of wildlife tourism in the lake city of Udaipur is gaining rapid popularity. The Lion Safari at Sajjangarh Biological Park has attracted over 6,000 tourists in just 45 days, establishing its unique identity. During this period, the department has also generated more than 1.5 million rupees in revenue, indicating the project’s success.
According to forest department officials, improved safety, cleanliness, and guidance have been implemented in the safari area. The presence of trained staff and organized management has made the experience memorable for visitors. This is why the number of tourists continues to rise.
Tourism experts believe that such projects not only create new job opportunities at the local level but also strengthen the regional economy. Notably, the Lion Safari was inaugurated by Gulabchand Kataria on February 17, and since then, it has become one of Udaipur‘s major attractions.
