
Jaipur, April 5: BJP State President Madan Rathore visited Sambhar on Saturday evening, where he participated in various religious events and interacted with local representatives and party workers. Rathore arrived around 7:30 PM and spent nearly two hours attending different programs in the area.
During his visit, Rathore began by attending the Swamni program organized by the Poddar family at the ancient pilgrimage site, Devyani Sarovar, specifically at the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple. He was accompanied by BJP State General Secretary Bhupendra Saini and former MLA Nirmal Kumawat from Phulera. The local BJP workers warmly welcomed him. Following this, he also visited the newly constructed Khatu Shyam Temple.
Discussion on Local Issues
At a welcome ceremony organized by the BJP Mandal, former MLA Nirmal Kumawat briefed the state president on the major issues facing the Sambhar region. He expressed concern over the migration caused by a lack of employment opportunities and called for permission for private salt production. Additionally, he emphasized the need for major trains to halt in Sambhar.
Members of the Daily Rail Passengers Association also submitted a memorandum regarding their issues. During this time, Rathore reminisced about his long-standing connection with Sambhar, noting that he had worked here as a propagandist for two years nearly 40 years ago, gaining valuable insights from the region.
Praise for Prime Minister Modi’s Leadership
Rathore commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, stating that the country has been fortunate to have such a personality, which comes once in a millennium. He mentioned that Modi considers the entire nation as his family. He also praised Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, describing him as a leader with a development-oriented mindset and lauded the ongoing development projects in the state.
Presence of Workers and Local Citizens
Several party workers and local citizens were present at the event, including BJP Mandal President Pawan Modi, Phulera Mandal President Pranav Kayal, and former Mandal President Radheshyam Sharma.
