
Pratapgarh, April 6: In a shocking incident in Suhagpura, Rajasthan, four individuals have been arrested following a shooting that left a 16-year-old boy critically injured. The victim, identified as Ankush, was guarding maize crops in his uncle’s field when the assailants, armed with guns, entered the area.
According to reports, Ankush was accompanied by two others, Shantilal and Rudraksh, when the attackers, including Gendraj, Lachhiram, and Ganesh, along with several unidentified accomplices, opened fire. The gunfire resulted in two shots hitting a wild boar, while one bullet struck Ankush in the head, causing severe bleeding. He was immediately rushed to the district hospital in Pratapgarh, where his condition remains critical.
Authorities have recovered three illegal firearms and two motorcycles linked to the suspects. The arrested individuals include Ganesh (48), Lachhiram (34), Gendraj (45), and Mangilal (47), all residents of the Biladi area under Suhagpura police jurisdiction. The investigation is ongoing as police continue to gather evidence related to the case.
