Bikaner, April 11: The political landscape within the Rajasthan BJP is buzzing following a statement from former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. The varying interpretations of her remarks have intensified political discussions, both within the party and beyond. In response to the controversy, BJP state president Madan Rathore emphasized that it is not necessary for one individual to always be appointed as Chief Minister. He noted that the party has its own processes and that multiple leaders work together to advance the party’s agenda.
During a media interaction in Bikaner, Rathore clarified that Raje did not claim her work was ineffective or that she failed to retain her position. He mentioned that he recently spoke with Raje, and no such concerns were raised during their conversation. Rathore also pointed out that the issue has been exaggerated in the media.
To illustrate his point, Rathore referenced a local Rajasthani saying, suggesting that people often escalate issues without complete information. He remarked that while the reality may differ, rumors can lead to unnecessary disputes.
He provided an example from his own experience, stating that a national highway was constructed in front of his house in Dholpur, forcing him to adjust his property boundaries. He insisted that if he had to comply with regulations, no exceptions could be made for others.
This entire incident has sparked renewed discussions about the internal dynamics of the Rajasthan BJP. Meanwhile, party leadership is actively working to quell the controversy.
