Modern Library and Community Hall Inaugurated for Police Welfare in Chittorgarh

Chittorgarh, April 23: The Inspector General of Udaipur Range, Gaurav Srivastava, inaugurated a state-of-the-art air-conditioned library and community hall at the police lines. This initiative marks a significant step towards the welfare and overall development of police personnel.

District Superintendent of Police, Manish Tripathi, reported that the inauguration took place on Wednesday in a dignified atmosphere, attended by police officials, staff, and guests. The air-conditioned library, constructed by Utkam Rai, Unit Head of UltraTech Cement Limited (Aditya Cement Works, Chittorgarh), is dedicated to the dedicated and duty-bound personnel of the Rajasthan Police and their families.

The library offers a conducive environment for study, along with reference materials, newspapers, and books related to competitive exams, providing police personnel with enhanced opportunities for knowledge acquisition and self-development.

In the same vein, the community hall, built by Alok Ranjan, Location Head of Hindustan Zinc Limited, Chittorgarh, was also inaugurated. This hall is dedicated to the diligent and duty-oriented personnel of the Rajasthan Police and will serve various social, cultural, and family events.

During the event, the Inspector General inaugurated both facilities by cutting the ribbon and unveiling the plaques. The presence of Alok Ranjan and Utkam Rai added special significance to the occasion. In his address, the Inspector General emphasized the necessity of such foundational facilities for the welfare and development of police personnel and their families. He stated that a strong and positive work environment enhances the efficiency and morale of the police force, directly benefiting the public through improved police services.

He expressed gratitude for the support from UltraTech Cement Limited and Hindustan Zinc Limited under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and hoped for continued participation in such public welfare projects in the future. The event was attended by Additional Superintendent of Police Sarita Singh and other officials and staff.
