RLP MP Hanuman Beniwal Challenges Rajasthan Government with Ten Tough Questions

Jaipur, June 5: The political landscape in Rajasthan is once again rife with accusations and counter-accusations. Hanuman Beniwal, the leader of the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) and MP from Nagaur, has put Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and the state police administration in the spotlight by raising ten pointed questions regarding a controversial land fraud case. Through a detailed post on his official social media platform, Beniwal has questioned the government’s alleged ‘zero tolerance’ policy.

The case revolves around a person named Pramod Sharma, who is accused of land fraud, preparing fake documents, and other serious charges. Beniwal alleges that the accused claims to be a close associate or relative of the Chief Minister, which has led to delays in legal action against him.

In his first question, Beniwal raised concerns about police procedures, noting that the police act swiftly against ordinary citizens in minor cases. He questioned why the law’s pace has slowed in Pramod Sharma’s case. He asked, “What reason allows the accused to evade arrest despite serious allegations?”

In his second question, he touched on judicial aspects, stating that if the High Court has denied relief to the accused, the government should clarify when his arrest will be ensured. He emphasized that the public wants to know why action is pending even after judicial proceedings.

Beniwal’s third and fourth questions addressed the alleged absconding of the accused and the police’s inaction. He asked if a reward would be announced for the arrest if the accused is indeed on the run. He also questioned why no reward has been declared, seeking clarity on the reasons behind it.

Targeting the BJP government‘s claims of good governance and anti-corruption, Beniwal’s fifth question inquired whether the equality of law applies only to opposition leaders and ordinary citizens or if it also extends to those in power. He insisted that the public deserves to know if all citizens are treated equally by the government.

In his sixth question, he raised the issue of ethics, asking if personal relationships and political influence have now superseded the law. He accused the government of displaying a clear discrepancy between its words and actions.

Beniwal’s seventh and eighth questions expressed concerns about potential political pressure on administrative and police officials. He queried whether any level of officials received verbal instructions to protect certain individuals from legal action. He added that if the accused were an ordinary citizen, farmer, or a member of a marginalized community, strict action would have already been taken against him.

In his ninth question, he highlighted the issue of his party workers, stating that if immediate legal action can be taken against RLP workers for submitting memorandums, why is there no similar urgency against land mafia? He termed this a case of double standards.

Finally, in his tenth question, Beniwal launched a sharp political attack, asking if influential individuals receive special protection from the law. He insisted that if this is not the case, the government should take clear action to restore public trust.

Beniwal’s post has sparked a new controversy in Rajasthan’s politics. However, there has been no official response from the Chief Minister’s office or the state government regarding this matter. Political analysts believe that this issue may become a significant topic of discussion in the state’s political arena in the coming days.
