Jaipur, July 14: Discontent has surfaced among BJP workers in Rajasthan following the release of the transfer list. Many party members gathered at the state party office to express their dissatisfaction over the lack of adherence to organizational recommendations and the removal of several names from the final list.
In response to the growing unrest, the party organization has become proactive. According to sources, BJP state president Madan Rathore held a closed-door meeting with Revenue Minister Hemant Meena and Energy Minister Hiralal Nagar for about half an hour. They discussed the transfer list, organizational recommendations, and the complaints raised by the workers.
Reports indicate that there is frustration regarding the disregard for the recommendations sent by the organization and insufficient attention to the cases of deserving workers. The ministers, however, defended their actions, stating that many changes were made at the official level during the finalization process.
Sources also revealed that Education Minister Madan Dilawar and Water Supply Minister Kanhaiyalal Chaudhary were consulted over the phone for feedback. Nonetheless, the ministers characterized this meeting as a routine organizational discussion.
The BJP organization is now reviewing feedback received from various districts and departments in light of the complaints about the transfers. Several workers have pointed out that names of employees and officials recommended for transfer were not included in the final list.
The party leadership aims to address the discontent of the workers swiftly to prevent any negative impact on organizational activities and upcoming political events.
As the crowd at the state office grew, many workers and others gathered outside Madan Rathore‘s office. To maintain order, the internal gate was closed, and arrangements were made for meetings to occur outside.
During this time, some disgruntled workers attempted to force open the gate, leading to a brief scuffle. Eventually, all workers were seated in a hall where state president Madan Rathore listened to their complaints and grievances.
In light of the ongoing complaints regarding transfers, the Chief Minister‘s Office has also requested details from the ministers about the recommendations made by public representatives. Following the discontent expressed by several legislators and MPs, ministers have been asked to clarify which representatives recommended the transfer of which officials or employees and what decisions were made regarding those recommendations.
The aim is to assess the political feedback received about the transfer process and review decisions on a departmental basis. Currently, efforts are intensifying at both the organizational and governmental levels to quell the unrest stemming from the transfer list.
