Jaipur, April 10: Akhilesh Yadav, the national president of the Samajwadi Party, made significant remarks regarding Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar during a media interaction in Jaipur. He expressed his desire to see Kumar as the Prime Minister of India, noting that many leaders within the INDIA alliance shared this sentiment, hoping Kumar would retire in that esteemed position.
Yadav took a jab at Kumar’s recent appointment as a Rajya Sabha member, suggesting that it now appears he will retire as a member of the Rajya Sabha. He accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of betraying Kumar and his supporters.
In his statements at Jaipur Airport, Yadav also criticized the BJP for allegedly interfering in the electoral process and influencing votes through its IT cell. He raised concerns about the Election Commission‘s impartiality, expressing serious worries about the electoral system.
Furthermore, Yadav criticized the central government’s foreign policy, stating that the BJP had promised to make India a “Vishwaguru” (world leader) but had failed to take concrete steps in that direction. He remarked that the Prime Minister could have visited Iran following a trip to Israel, similar to the earlier visit to Pakistan.
Yadav’s comments have sparked discussions in political circles, particularly at a time when new strategies regarding alliances and leadership are emerging in national politics.
