Jaipur, July 25: The Rajasthan unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced the formation of division election committees. The list was released from the party headquarters located at C-51, Sardar Patel Marg, C-Scheme, Jaipur. The announcement was made on July 25, 2026, covering all seven divisions of the state.
According to the official letter:
- Jaipur Division: Ghanshyam Tiwari (Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha), Prahlad Saini (Former Minister), and Lalchand Kataria (Former Minister).
- Jodhpur Division: Omkar Singh Lakhawat (Chairman, Heritage Authority, Rajasthan Government), C.R. Chaudhary (Chairman, Farmers Commission, Rajasthan Government), and Hemraj Meena (Former MLA).
- Bhagpur Division: Arun Chaturvedi (Chairman, Finance Commission, Rajasthan Government), Hariram Rinwa (Former State President, Farmers Front), and Shankar Singh Rajpurohit (Former MLA).
- Kota Division: C.P. Joshi (Member of Parliament), Arjunlal Meena (Former MP), and Ajit Mehta (Former MLA).
- Ajmer Division: Ashok Parnami (Former State President, BJP), Mrs. Jyoti Mirdha (State Vice President, BJP), and Devji Bhai Patel (Former MP).
- Udaipur Division: Rajendra Rathore (Former Leader of Opposition), Narayan Panwaria (Former MP), and Mrs. Jaskaur Meena (Former MP, BJP).
- Bikaner Division: Mukesh Dadhich (State Vice President, BJP), Jaswant Singh Bishnoi (Chairman, Animal Welfare Board, Rajasthan Government), and Mrs. Santosh Ahlawat (Former MP).
The list is signed by the State General Secretary and Headquarters In-Charge, Shravan Singh Bagri. The formation of these committees is a strategic move by the party in preparation for the upcoming elections.
