The highly anticipated CMF Phone 2 Pro from Nothing’s sub-brand is set to launch globally, including in India, on April 28. Ahead of the official debut, Nothing India President Akis Evangelidis has confirmed that the smartphone will ship with a transparent protective cover and a charging adapter in the box — a move that’s likely exclusive to the Indian market.

CMF Phone 2 Pro: Transparent Case and Charger Confirmed
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Evangelidis revealed that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will come bundled with a transparent protective back case, giving fans a glimpse of the phone’s design language. This follows his earlier confirmation that a charging adapter will also be included in the box — a notable feature, especially as many brands are phasing out in-box chargers.
The teaser image shows the top portion of the transparent cover, with cutouts that suggest the phone will feature a triple rear camera setup. The camera array is likely to be arranged in a triangular layout, as seen in prior leaks.
CMF Phone 2 Pro: Expected Design and Specifications
While full design renders haven’t been officially released yet, previous leaks and teasers provide strong indications:
-
Triple rear camera unit: Two circular sensors placed vertically, with a third lens and LED flash positioned adjacent.
-
Interchangeable textured back panel: Continuing from the first CMF Phone, allowing users to personalize the look.
-
Thin and lightweight build: Confirmed by the company to enhance user comfort.
On the performance side, the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro SoC, offering:
-
120fps frame rate support for BGMI
-
1,000Hz touch sampling rate for responsive gaming
-
53% improved network performance, enhancing connectivity in congested areas
CMF Phone 2 Pro vs CMF Phone 1
The CMF Phone 1, launched in India at ₹15,999, featured:
-
MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset
-
50MP dual rear camera
-
Interchangeable back covers
The CMF Phone 2 Pro will be a step up with a more powerful Pro version of the chipset, enhanced gaming capabilities, and a third rear camera, suggesting improved photography options.
Launch and Availability
The global launch is scheduled for April 28, and India is expected to be one of the primary markets. The inclusion of in-box accessories like a transparent case and charger may help CMF gain an edge in the budget segment.
