This limited-run tribute to the original 1980s W460 model celebrates the G-Class legacy while blending modern engineering with vintage aesthetics. Only 460 units of this edition will be produced globally, following the milestone of the 500,000th G-Class produced in 2023.

The Edition STRONGER THAN THE 1980s is available in two variants — the G 450 d and the G 500. Inspired by the classic W460 series, the special edition comes in three heritage color options:

To complete the throwback vibe, Mercedes has added traditional orange turn signals, blacked-out bumpers, grille, and mirror caps, and 5-spoke alloy wheels reminiscent of the original G-Wagen.
