Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was scheduled to release the 25th installment during a major event in Jabalpur, with a parallel program planned in Indore. However, in a respectful gesture, both events have been cancelled, and the installment will not be disbursed on the previously announced date.

The announcement came directly from the Chief Minister’s official Twitter (X) handle on the evening of June 12:

“The whole country is mourning the death of passengers in the Ahmedabad plane crash. I am postponing the program organized in Jabalpur and Indore tomorrow, June 13. My deepest condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the accident.”

This tweet clarified that the next Ladli Behna Yojana installment will be delayed until further notice. The new disbursement date is expected to be announced soon.

What is the Ladli Behna Yojana?

Launched on March 15, 2023, by the Madhya Pradesh government, the Ladli Behna Yojana aims to empower women financially by providing monthly cash assistance. Initially, women received ₹1,000 per month, but the amount was later increased to ₹1,250, credited directly to their bank accounts.
