
Ajmer, July 10: The Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee has announced the new leadership for the Ajmer District Congress Committee. This decision came after the approval of State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra, with a press release issued by Organization Secretary Lalit Toonwal on July 10, 2026.
Dr. Rajkumar Jaipal has been appointed as the President of the Ajmer District Congress Committee. Mahendra Chaudhary will serve as the Organization Secretary, while Amit Garg has been designated as the Treasurer.
The newly formed committee includes five Vice Presidents, seven Secretaries, one Spokesperson, and one Social Media In-Charge. The Vice Presidents are Syed Fakhar-e-Moin, Vivek Parashar, Neerat Gurjar, Gajendra Singh Ralawta, and Naveen Kachhawa.
The Secretaries include Chandrashekhar Balotia, Mukesh Panwar, Ishwar Tahliyan, Pramod Sharma, Nitin Jain, Ishwar Rajoria, and Hemant Jodha. The Secretary positions have been filled by Anil Khandelwal, Mrs. Geeta Gurjar, Ms. Anita Rawat, Yogesh Jatolia, Mukhtar Ahmed Nawab, Hemraj Kharoliya, Harpal Chhabra, Mukesh Chainwal, Chandrakant Paliwal, Sundar Gurjar, Hari Prasad Jatav, Mohammad Farwez Khan, Arif Khan, Kashish Kumar Baiwala, and Sumit Mittal.
The party has appointed Kamal Verma as the Spokesperson and Chandraesh Chuniya as the Social Media In-Charge. This committee is considered crucial for enhancing Congress activities in Ajmer, strengthening public outreach campaigns, and managing upcoming political events.
According to the press release, several officials and public representatives will also serve as ex-officio members of the District Congress Committee. This includes former district presidents, current and former MPs, candidates for the 2024 elections, current and former MLAs, assembly candidates for 2023, and AICC and PCC officials residing in the district, along with block presidents, city presidents, mayors of municipal bodies, chairpersons, leaders of the opposition, district heads, district council members, and heads of affiliated organizations.
Politically, this new leadership is seen as a significant step towards activating the Congress organization at the local level and strengthening the party’s presence from booth to city level.
