New Leadership Announced for Sikar District Congress Committee

Sikar, July 10: The Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee has announced the new district executive for the Sikar District Congress Committee. Following the approval of state Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra, a press note was issued by organization general secretary Lalit Toonwal on July 9, 2026.

In the newly announced executive, Sunita Gagal has been appointed as the president of the Sikar District Congress Committee. Advocate Poonamchand Sharma has been designated as the organization general secretary, while Gaurav Singh Gaud will serve as the treasurer.

The new executive comprises 10 vice presidents, 15 general secretaries, 20 secretaries, 2 spokespersons, and 2 social media coordinators. The vice president positions have been filled by Rameshwar Govindpura, Hadman Solanki, Kajodmal Raigar, Rajendra Thakur, Mangilal Barala, Shakuntala Devi, Mahaveer Kesar, Shrawan Singh Shekhawat, Bhawarlal Verma, and Ramniwas Khokhar.

The general secretary roles have been assigned to Ramavatar Kataria, Narendra Chhachharwal, Banwari Bhaskar, Nandlal Sharma, Shakir Solanki, Mo. Sabir/Babu Haji, Dalwar Singh Brijwal, Ramswaroop Bhaskar, Nitesh Chaudhary, Altaf Royan, Advocate Harish Mishra, Bhawarlal Kumawat, Sanju Devi, Amar Singh Kammpawat, and Pappu Pehlwan.

Additionally, 20 officials have been appointed as secretaries. The party has designated Islam Khokhar and Dinesh Saini as spokespersons. Surendra Moniya and Sanjay Parik have been appointed as social media coordinators.

According to the press note, several officials and public representatives will also serve as ex-officio members of the district Congress committee. This includes former district presidents, MPs, former MPs, candidates for the 2024 elections, current and former MLAs, candidates for the 2023 assembly elections, AICC and PCC officials, block presidents, municipal presidents, officials from municipal bodies, district chiefs, district council members, and heads of front organizations.

Politically, this new executive is seen as crucial for the upcoming organizational activities, public outreach campaigns, and election preparations. Following the formation of the new team, there will be a focus on activating the Congress organization at both the booth and district levels.
