Chandigarh, May 5 The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a three-day rain and storm alert for Haryana, forecasting moderate to heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and wind speeds up to 60 km/h across the state. The weather shift is being driven by the impact of back-to-back Western Disturbances and the movement of northeastern winds, resulting in variable weather patterns through May 7.

While the maximum temperature in the state rose by 5.3°C on Saturday, it still remained 3.1°C below normal for this time of year, indicating an unusual cooling trend despite summer’s advance.
