Mixed Weather Across the State
Currently, Madhya Pradesh is witnessing a mix of weather conditions.
- Nighttime Cold: Several cities are recording night temperatures between 10°C to 14°C, with varying levels of chill.
- Morning Fog and Daytime Winds: Medium to dense fog in the morning and cold winds during the day are common across the state.
Reason for Weather Changes
Meteorologists attribute these conditions to the influence of snow-laden winds from the north and the impact of a Western Disturbance (WD).
- The jet stream winds clocked speeds of up to 260 km/h on Monday, temporarily easing cold conditions.
- However, WD activity is causing fluctuations in weather, leading to a mix of rain and fog in parts of the state.
