New Delhi, April 6, 2026 (Daily Udaipur): Huawei is set to launch its upcoming wide foldable smartphone, Huawei Pura X Max, on April 20, aiming to challenge rivals like Apple and Samsung in the premium segment.
The Pura X Max has been generating attention ahead of its launch, with the company teasing its design and key specifications. The device is being positioned as the world’s first horizontally wide foldable smartphone, offering a different form factor compared to conventional foldables that typically feature vertically elongated displays.
According to details shared on Vmall, the smartphone features a wider screen layout, resembling a tablet-like experience similar to an iPad Mini when unfolded. Unlike standard foldable phones that expand into taller displays, the Pura X Max focuses on providing a broader horizontal viewing area.
The new design is expected to deliver an enhanced content viewing experience. However, the wider form factor may pose challenges in handling and grip for some users.
The smartphone is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup and will be available in multiple colour options, including black, blue, orange, silver, and purple.
