
Jaipur, April 19: On April 14, 2026, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a grand district-level seminar in Jaipur to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the Bharat Ratna awardee. The event took place at the BJP Jaipur city office and commenced with a traditional lighting of the lamp, attended by numerous party officials, workers, and community representatives.
The keynote speaker, Nihalchand Meghwal, the state president of the SC Morcha, highlighted Dr. Ambedkar’s struggles and his historic contributions to the Constitution. He emphasized that Dr. Ambedkar represents not just an individual but a powerful ideology of social justice, equality, and rights that has guided the nation towards a new direction. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, stating that the current government is rapidly working to fulfill Ambedkar’s dreams and is taking effective steps for the upliftment of marginalized communities.
Prabhu Lal Saini, in charge of Jaipur city, described the central government’s budget as significant from a social justice perspective. He noted that under the Prime Minister’s leadership, approximately ₹48 lakh crore has been allocated for the empowerment of weaker sections of society. He referenced the ‘GYAN’ formula to clarify the government’s priorities and stated that the nation is moving beyond appeasement politics towards satisfaction and empowerment.
Amit Goyal, the district president of Jaipur city, addressed the workers, stating that Dr. Ambedkar’s life symbolizes struggle, education, and self-respect. He urged all workers to strengthen the organization and ensure that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach every eligible individual.
The seminar saw remarkable attendance from various BJP officials and workers. Media co-in-charge Nayan Madhani Agrawal reported that many senior party officials participated, all pledging to spread Ambedkar’s thoughts to the masses. In conclusion, all attendees vowed to adopt Dr. Ambedkar’s principles and work continuously for the upliftment of weaker and marginalized sections, contributing to the goal of making India a developed nation by 2047.
