Local Girl Shines in RAS 2024, Securing 198th Rank

Ahmedabad, April 19: The final results of the RAS recruitment 2024 were announced on Saturday by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission. Namita Mehta, a resident of the town, achieved an impressive 198th rank, bringing pride to her family and district.

The results stem from the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Examination 2024, where interviews were conducted from December 1, 2025, to April 17, 2026. Namita, the 25-year-old daughter of local businessman Narendra Mehta, has made history by becoming the first RAS officer from her town.

Namita’s father runs a grocery business, while her mother, Lalita, is a homemaker. She has a younger brother, Nikhil, who is pursuing a CA degree. Following the announcement of the results, congratulatory visitors flocked to their home.

Reflecting on her success, Namita credited her parents and divine support. She began her preparations in 2022 but faced initial setbacks. However, she persevered and returned to her studies, ultimately achieving this milestone. Namita emphasized the importance of patience in competitive exams and acknowledged her family’s unwavering support, especially from her mother and brother.
