
Mumbai, April 19: A significant political change has emerged in Bihar, with Samrat Chaudhary being elected as the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislative party. He is poised to take over as the new Chief Minister of the state. A formal announcement will follow the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) meeting. The oath-taking ceremony is scheduled for April 15 at Lok Bhawan, where Samrat Chaudhary will officially assume office.
Prior to this development, Nitish Kumar resigned from the Chief Minister position. He arrived at the Raj Bhawan in the same vehicle as Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Chaudhary to submit his resignation to the Governor. Following his resignation, Nitish Kumar took to social media platform X to express that the new government will take charge of the state, and he will extend his full support.
