
Udaipur, March 27: In a significant announcement, the Municipal Commissioner has ordered all meat shops to close in observance of Mahavir Jayanti.
Commissioner Abhishek Khanna issued the directive for Tuesday, March 31, mandating the closure of all slaughterhouses, as well as establishments selling meat, fish, and eggs within the municipal area.
This decision aligns with the state government’s instructions. To ensure compliance, subordinate officials have been directed to monitor the situation closely. Any merchant found violating this order will face strict penalties, including the potential revocation of their license.
