
Udaipur, March 27: In a series of operations across different police jurisdictions in the district, law enforcement has made significant strides in combating crime. One individual was arrested for possessing a banned narcotic, while four long-wanted fugitives were apprehended.
In the first incident, police in the Kherwada area arrested a suspect named Govind, a resident of Pogra Khurd, with six capsules of the prohibited drug SPAS-TRASCEN-PLUS, weighing a total of 4 grams. The authorities have registered a case under the NDPS Act and are continuing their investigation.
In a separate operation in the Jhadol area, police successfully captured four fugitives who had been evading arrest for an extended period. The arrested individuals, identified as Mangiya, Manish, Shantilal, and Chatra, were wanted in various cases. All suspects have been presented before the court.
These operations are part of a broader campaign aimed at curbing criminal activities in the district, focusing on apprehending wanted individuals and controlling illegal activities.
