Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, with the consent of Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, established this special team. Senior Congress leader Ajay Maken and former National Women’s Congress President Meenakshi Natarajan are also part of this team. The trio has been tasked with visiting Punjab to assess the political and organizational situation in detail and report back to the Congress leadership.
