Udaipur, March 17: In a significant move to combat the misuse and black marketing of domestic gas cylinders, the district administration, under the leadership of District Collector Namit Mehta, has taken decisive action. Teams from the administration and the supply department have been actively engaged in operations throughout the city.
Under the guidance of District Supply Officer Shrishti Dabas (trainee IAS), the vigilance team of the supply department conducted a raid against illegal gas refilling and hoarding. Enforcement Inspector Vishesh Meena, Dr. Himani Singh Solanki, and Dr. Komal Singh Solanki inspected a residence located on Udaipur-Fatehnagar Road, opposite Vinayak Vatika. During the operation, they seized 21 domestic gas cylinders and discovered two gas refilling machines, one of which was found in use for illegal refilling. Both machines were confiscated.
In a related operation, Enforcement Officer Mansi Pandya and Inspector Dr. Himani Singh Solanki targeted the Surajpol area. They recovered four domestic gas cylinders being illegally used from Ganesh Restaurant’s kitchen.
