Mumbai, March 6: Honor is gearing up to launch its new Honor 600 series of smartphones in China. Reports indicate that the lineup will include the Honor 600 and 600 Pro, succeeding the previous Honor 500 and 500 Pro models. A reliable tipster recently shared key specifications on Weibo regarding the upcoming series.
Key Specifications of Honor 600 Series
According to the leak from DCS, the engineering prototypes of the Honor 600 series, codenamed Vicky, will be available in orange, black, and gold color options. The base model is expected to feature a 6.57-inch 1.5K LTPS display and will be powered by a high-performance chipset, anticipated to achieve over 3 million points on benchmarking platforms.
Earlier reports suggested that the Honor 600 might utilize the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip. However, current testing is being conducted with the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
The leak also reveals that the Honor 600 will include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, a metal middle frame, and a remarkable 200-megapixel main camera paired with a short telephoto lens.
Additionally, the Honor 600 is expected to house a substantial battery, with a capacity starting with “9,” indicating a possible 9,000mAh for a mid-sized, camera-centric smartphone. Specific details about the Honor 600 Pro were not disclosed in this leak.
The tipster mentioned that the launch is planned for mid-year. For context, the Honor 500 series was unveiled in November 2025, while the Honor 400 series was announced in June. Thus, it is likely that the Honor 600 series will debut in June this year in China.
