
Udaipur, March 26: The third day of the “Kashmiri Youth Exchange Program,” organized jointly by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the Ministry of Home Affairs, provided participants with rich experiences of Udaipur’s historical, educational, and cultural heritage.
The day began with a visit to the famous Saheliyon-ki-Bari, where participants closely observed its natural beauty and historical significance, gaining insights into the rich heritage of Mewar. Following this, they toured the Maharana Pratap Agricultural and Technology University (MPUAT), where Professor Vikramaditya Dev conducted an enlightening session. He emphasized the importance of agriculture, innovation, and modern technologies, inspiring youth to become self-reliant through education.
After lunch, participants explored the City Palace in Udaipur, where they learned about Mewar’s glorious history, royal architecture, and traditions. The day concluded with cultural performances showcasing the folk heritage of Udaipur, captivating all participants with the enchanting glimpses of Rajasthan’s folk culture, dance, and music.
District Youth Officer Shubham Purbiya stated that such tours and educational activities play a crucial role in connecting youth with the country’s diverse cultural heritage, while also strengthening mutual understanding, unity, and brotherhood.
