Udaipur, March 26: On the auspicious occasion of Durga Ashtami and Ram Navami, the Narayan Seva Sansthan organized a ceremonial worship of the nine forms of Goddess Durga at their Seva Mahatirth campus on Thursday. During this event, 501 disabled girls were honored with a heartfelt ‘Kanya Poojan’, wishing for their bright futures.
Director Vandana Agarwal performed the worship of the girls and presented them with respectful gifts. Following the ceremony, all the girls were served prasadam, which included halwa, puri, kheer, and chana.
Vandana Agarwal emphasized that the Kanya Poojan on Durga Ashtami symbolizes service, faith, and respect. The organization is committed to empowering disabled girls, integrating them into the mainstream of society. They provide free medical care, education, skill training, and rehabilitation services.
Prashant Agarwal, the president of the organization, shared that they have been upholding the tradition of Kanya Poojan for the past 22 years. During Navratri, these girls also receive free corrective surgeries for disabilities, enabling positive changes in their lives.
