Speaking on Cricbuzz, Sehwag didn’t mince words:
“It is time for Rohit to retire. But before retiring, he should give fans something memorable, something that people can remember forever.”
The former opener also criticized Rohit’s shot selection, particularly his repeated dismissals while attempting pull shots:
“Take 10 more balls, but stay on the pitch. He gets out again and again playing the same shots. Someone needs to guide him to play simple, sensible cricket.”
