Udaipur, March 25: In a crackdown on the illegal use of commercial gas cylinders, Udaipur‘s District Supply Officer, Ms. Srishti Dabas (trainee IAS), led an operation on Tuesday to prevent the unauthorized use of domestic gas for commercial purposes and curb illegal refilling activities.
Following complaints regarding the illegal transfer of gas from one cylinder to another and reports of black marketing, enforcement officers Dr. Nisha Mundda and junior assistant Tanuj Mali conducted a surprise inspection at Kartik Enterprises on Gaurela Road, Ramapura, Girwa, Udaipur. They seized a total of 20 gas cylinders during the operation, which included 16 commercial cylinders and 4 domestic cylinders. Additionally, enforcement officers Ms. Mansi Pandya and Ms. Himani Singh Solanki conducted another inspection in Udaipur city. They seized 6 domestic gas cylinders and three gas refilling hoses from a house located in front of the Someshwar Temple in Savina.
