Nagaur, April 21: Opposition Leader Tika Ram Julie arrived late Monday night in the Makrana area of the Didwana-Kuchaman district, where he strongly criticized the BJP government during a media interaction. He raised questions about the recent fire at the Pachpadra refinery, asking how such an incident could occur despite continuous inspections over the past 15 days. He also expressed concerns over the cancellation of the Prime Minister’s program, suggesting doubts about the government’s intentions.
Julie alleged that the refinery project was supposed to provide employment to local residents, but this has not materialized, resulting in hardships for the community. He stated that the government only makes announcements while failing to show tangible progress on the ground. He reminded everyone that the Chief Minister had promised to initiate the project by August 15, yet no advancements have been made so far.
Additionally, he criticized the central government regarding the Women’s Reservation Bill, claiming it has been stalled for political gain. On the education front, he pointed out that the government has yet to construct any new school buildings.
During his visit, Tika Ram Julie also attended a family function of MLA Zakir Hussain Gasawat, where he blessed the newlywed couple. He received a warm welcome from Congress workers, with a large number of local residents in attendance.
