Suzuki has just given motorcycle enthusiasts something exciting to look forward to! The company has globally unveiled its two brand-new neo-retro motorcycles – the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT. Both bikes promise a stunning blend of classic styling and modern performance. Let’s dive into what makes these two bikes special and when you can expect them to arrive in India.

Retro-Inspired Design with Modern Touches
Both the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT are based on the platform of the Suzuki GSX-8S, but feature a completely different design inspired by classic bikes from the 1960s and 70s.
-
GSX-8T pays tribute to the iconic Suzuki T500 “Titan”, with a round LED headlamp, wide handlebars, and bar-end mirrors giving it a bold, retro appearance.
-
GSX-8TT, on the other hand, comes with a slightly sportier look featuring a headlight cowl and race-inspired color scheme for a more aggressive stance.
Powerful Engine for City and Highway Rides
Under the tank, both bikes are powered by a 776cc parallel-twin engine, the same unit found in the GSX-8R and V-Strom 800 models. It produces a healthy 83 bhp of power and 78 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. This setup ensures that the bikes are not only great for city commutes but also powerful performers on long highway rides.
Key Features at a Glance
-
Riding Modes: Three riding modes – Active, Basic, and Comfort – allow the rider to adapt performance based on road conditions.
-
Advanced Safety: Includes features like traction control and a quickshifter for smoother and safer riding.
-
Full LED Lighting: Enhances visibility during night rides with a completely LED lighting setup.
-
Wheels & Suspension: Equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, USD front forks, and a monoshock rear suspension, the bikes promise confident and smooth handling.
India Launch Timeline
While Suzuki has not yet made any official announcement regarding the India launch of the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT, both the GSX-8S and V-Strom 800DE are already on sale in the Indian market. Based on that, it is expected that these two models could make their India debut by late 2025 or early 2026.
