Unstable Weather Returns to Uttar Pradesh
The weather in Uttar Pradesh (UP) continues to remain unstable due to the active western disturbance. After a brief relief from heat, intense thunderstorms and rainfall were witnessed across several regions in UP on Friday night. The sudden change in weather brought down temperatures but also led to severe damage in some areas—uprooted trees, broken electric poles, and power disruptions were reported.

In multiple parts of the state, heavy winds caused roadblocks, and pedestrians had to seek shelter due to high wind speed. Rainfall also damaged harvested wheat crops, adding to farmers’ distress. Throughout Saturday, overcast conditions persisted in many districts.
