
Udaipur, March 28: In a significant operation under the Essential Commodities Act, police in Fatehnagar have confiscated illegally stored gas cylinders from a local resident’s home. On March 27, 2026, Enforcement Inspector Mrs. Himani Solanki filed a written report regarding the incident. The report detailed that during an inspection on March 15, 2026, around 1 PM, authorities discovered 20 non-domestic gas cylinders unlawfully kept in a residence.
The investigation revealed that the accused, Banshilal Soni, son of Udaylal Soni, was hoarding these cylinders without valid permission, which constitutes a violation under the Essential Commodities Act of 1955. A case has been registered against him at the Fatehnagar police station, and the investigation is currently underway under the supervision of Station Officer Chandrashekhar.
