
Pratapgarh, April 13: Authorities took decisive action against illegal sand transportation in Gomana. During a routine vehicle check, a dumper with registration number RJ 27 GD 4175 was stopped for inspection. It was found to be overloaded with sand beyond its capacity.
Upon questioning, the driver, identified as Kishan Lal, son of Bhanwar Lal Gaiyari from Aira village under Gangrar police station in Chittorgarh district, failed to provide any documentation regarding the sand’s royalty. The dumper was detained on the spot for carrying excess sand without the necessary permits. The mining department has been notified for further action.
This incident highlights ongoing efforts to curb illegal mining activities in the region.
