Jaipur, July 6: BJP state president Madan Rathore launched a sharp attack on opposition parties during an event in Jaipur. He stated that many prominent leaders from these parties are currently out on bail. Rathore accused Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Robert Vadra, Arvind Kejriwal, and Sanjay Singh, among others, of being involved in various legal troubles.
Rathore was addressing a student conference organized by the BJP Youth Wing to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee at the Constitution Club in Jaipur. He urged the youth to study history and embrace the spirit of putting the nation first.
He emphasized the importance of serious historical study, noting that many individuals take credit for achievements, while it is the citizens with a national character who truly contribute to the unity and strength of the country. Such individuals have dedicated their lives to the nation’s integrity.
The BJP state president stressed the need to discern who genuinely harbors patriotic sentiments today. He asserted that the “Nation First” ideology is the core principle of the BJP. Rathore claimed that the party comprises individuals of impeccable character, which is why the opposition cannot compete with them.
During the conference, state organization general secretary Ajay Kumar highlighted that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s life serves as an inspiration for the youth. He encouraged young people to study Mukherjee’s life, thoughts, and dedication to the nation to channel their energy towards nation-building effectively.
Ajay Kumar noted that Dr. Mukherjee became the Vice-Chancellor of Kolkata University at just 33 years old. He later served as the Finance Minister in the Bengal government and as the Industry Minister in India’s first government post-independence. Discontent with the Nehru-Liaquat agreement and the atrocities against Hindus in East Pakistan led Dr. Mukherjee to resign from the central cabinet and pursue a path of nationalist political alternatives.
The event was attended by BJP Youth Wing activists, students, and party officials. Speakers urged the youth to internalize Dr. Mukherjee’s ideas and play an active role in nation-building.
