Nothing’s CMF sub-brand is set to unveil its most ambitious smartphone yet — the CMF Phone 2 Pro — on April 28. The company has officially teased the rear camera setup, confirming major upgrades in both design and functionality.

Triple Rear Cameras Confirmed, Including Telephoto Lens
In a recent teaser shared by CMF on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the CMF Phone 2 Pro is seen sporting a triple rear camera unit, marking a significant leap from its predecessor. The setup will include:
-
A 50-megapixel 1/1.57-inch primary sensor
-
A 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom
-
An 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera offering a 119.5-degree field of view
This enhanced camera configuration represents a major shift from the dual-camera setup on the CMF Phone 1, which offered a 50MP Sony sensor and a portrait unit. The addition of a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide sensor puts the Phone 2 Pro in line with premium photography standards, even in the mid-range segment.
Power and Performance: Dimensity 7300 Pro SoC
The CMF Phone 2 Pro is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, which promises up to 10% faster CPU performance and a 5% boost in graphics over the standard Dimensity 7300 found in the previous model. It also includes a sixth-generation NPU capable of 4.8 TOPS of AI computing power, making it a promising device for multitasking and camera enhancements.
Gaming enthusiasts can expect smooth performance with support for 120fps in BGMI and a 1,000Hz touch sampling rate, indicating ultra-responsive screen performance.
Sleek Design and In-Box Goodies
Alongside performance, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is teased to have a thin and lightweight design, staying true to CMF’s signature aesthetics. As confirmed by Nothing’s co-founder and India President Akis Evangelidis, the phone will ship with a charger and a transparent protective back cover in the box — a welcome move in today’s cost-cutting trend.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro will debut alongside CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus, further expanding the brand’s audio lineup and ecosystem.
