
Chittorgarh, April 18: A district-level public grievance hearing was held on Thursday under the state government’s tri-level program, chaired by District Collector Dr. Manju. A significant number of residents attended the hearing to voice their concerns.
The District Collector listened attentively to each petitioner’s issues, instructing relevant officials to ensure prompt resolution based on priority. She emphasized that timely resolution of public grievances is the administration’s top priority and that any negligence would not be tolerated.
During the hearing, a total of 65 cases were registered, with the majority related to the revenue department. These cases included issues such as removal of encroachments, providing access roads to fields, public pathways, land disputes, and initiating installments for the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. Additionally, numerous grievances related to pension schemes under social security were also received.
The District Collector resolved several cases on the spot, providing immediate relief to the petitioners, while the remaining cases were forwarded to the relevant officials for swift resolution. She coordinated with sub-divisional officers to ensure on-the-spot solutions for cases from petitioners who traveled from the district headquarters and other areas. Furthermore, while reviewing cases recorded by the district vigilance committee, she directed officials to personally oversee these matters and ensure their prompt resolution.
Present at the hearing were Additional District Collector (Administration) Prabha Gautam, Chief Executive Officer of the District Council Vinay Pathak, ADM (Land Acquisition) Ramchandra Khatik, and Sub-Divisional Officer Beenu Deval, along with all district-level officials. Block-level officers also participated via video conferencing, sharing information related to cases from their respective areas.
