Rahul Gandhi to Engage with Students in Kota on June 17, Discussing NEET and Youth Issues

Kota, June 14: Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and a senior Congress leader, will visit Kota, Rajasthan, on June 17. Amid ongoing concerns regarding the NEET exam, paper leaks, and various issues affecting students nationwide, he will directly engage with students and youth. The event is scheduled to take place at 5:30 PM at the Shri Ram Rangmanch in Dussehra Maidan and is expected to last approximately three hours.

According to Congress leaders, this event will differ from traditional political rallies. There will be no large stage or lengthy speeches from leaders. Instead, Rahul Gandhi aims to connect directly with students, listening to their problems, suggestions, and thoughts. A special corridor will be arranged to facilitate face-to-face interactions with students.

The Congress party states that this initiative seeks to understand the real issues faced by youth and students. The dialogue aims to address the dissatisfaction among students regarding the NEET exam and paper leaks, providing them a platform to voice their concerns. Politically, this event is significant as Kota is recognized as a major coaching hub in the country.

Preparations for the program were discussed in a meeting held at the Congress office on Sunday. Participants included Poonam Paswan, Secretary of the All India Congress Committee and Co-in-Charge of Rajasthan, along with city Congress President Rakhi Gautam and various assembly constituency workers. The meeting focused on outlining the event and assigning responsibilities to officials.

Poonam Paswan remarked that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi shares his thoughts with the nation through his radio program “Mann Ki Baat,” Rahul Gandhi is coming to Kota to listen to the “Mann Ki Baat” of students and youth, who are considered the future of the country. She emphasized that the Congress party will continue its student dialogue campaign, particularly addressing issues related to the NEET paper leak and the future of students.

Gandhi’s visit comes at a time when there is ongoing debate across the country regarding the transparency of competitive exams, paper leaks, and the future of youth. Thus, this dialogue event in Kota is seen as crucial for both students and political parties.
