Bharatpur, March 17: Bharatpur is set to celebrate Rajasthan Day with a week-long series of events starting from March 14. The district administration has prepared an elaborate plan for these grand celebrations, following directives from the state government. District Collector Kamar Chaudhary reviewed the preparations in a meeting at the collectorate and instructed officials to ensure that all departments work together to make these events a true ‘festival.’

The festivities will commence with a cleanliness week on March 14. Under this initiative, municipal corporations, municipalities, and Panchayati Raj institutions will launch extensive cleaning campaigns in both urban and rural areas. A state-level ‘Farmers and Livestock Breeders Prosperity Day’ will be celebrated at the Police Parade Ground. The highlight of this event will be a direct dialogue between the Chief Minister and local farmers and livestock breeders, where he will share information about government schemes and future plans. Various competitions such as digital quizzes, essay writing, speeches, and painting will also be held in local colleges to showcase the talents of the youth.
