Mumbai, April 17, 2025 — Shares of Suzlon Energy surged nearly 2% in early trade on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after the renewable energy giant announced it had secured a 100.8 megawatt (MW) wind power EPC order from Sunsure Energy. The stock was trading at ₹55.41, up by ₹1.07 or 1.97% from the previous close of ₹54.34.

Suzlon to Supply 48 High-Tech Wind Turbines
The project will be executed in Jath, Maharashtra, marking Sunsure Energy’s maiden entry into the wind energy segment. Under the agreement, Suzlon will supply 48 units of its S120 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 2.1 MW, mounted on Hybrid Lattice Towers (HLT).
