District Officials Inspect Temples on the First Day of Chaitra Navratri

Mumbai, March 20: On the auspicious occasion of Chaitra Navratri, District Magistrate Rajesh Kumar Pandey and Superintendent of Police Dr. Durgesh Kumar conducted an on-site inspection of key power temples in the district. They visited the Shakti Peeths located in Bairagarh, including the Maa Raktidantika and Akshara Mata temples, to assess the arrangements.

During the inspection, the officials thoroughly evaluated cleanliness, lighting, drinking water supply, barricading, crowd control, and security measures within the temple premises. They instructed the relevant authorities to ensure that all arrangements are well-prepared to accommodate the increasing number of devotees during Navratri, preventing any inconvenience. The District Magistrate specifically emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness, toilet facilities, and the continuous availability of light and drinking water.

The Superintendent of Police highlighted the need for heightened vigilance regarding security, traffic control, and the safety of female devotees. During their visit, both officials performed rituals at the temples, bowing in reverence and praying for the prosperity and peace of the district’s residents. The administration has made extensive arrangements to ensure the comfort and safety of devotees, allowing the Navratri festival to be celebrated with devotion, joy, and order.
