Udaipur, March 24: Two suspects, who had been on the run for three years in connection with an MDMA trafficking case, have been apprehended. This operation was part of the “Operation Trinetra,” aimed at locating long-absconded offenders.
The case is linked to a previous incident registered at the Sukher police station, where another suspect was caught with MDMA. During the interrogation, he revealed that the drugs were supplied by Himmat, also known as Rahul, and his associate Alpesh. Since that revelation, both suspects had been evading capture.
During the investigation, warrants were issued against both individuals, and efforts to locate them continued. Utilizing technical resources and an information network, the Hathipol police team successfully arrested them on March 24, 2026. The arrested suspects are identified as Himmat, son of Narayan, and Alpesh, son of Gautam, both residents of Moongana, Parsola police station, Pratapgarh district.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are searching for other potential suspects linked to the trafficking network.
