Saints Demand Reversal Of Land Acquisition For Bhairana Dham Daily Udaipur

Jaipur, June 2: Saints protesting against the proposed land acquisition of Bhairana Dham met with Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal at his residence in Jaipur on Sunday. During the meeting, the saints shared updates on their discussions with the state government and the current status of their movement.

The saints stated that the government has provided various assurances regarding the land of Bhairana Dham. However, they emphasized that the movement will not conclude until the formal withdrawal of the land acquisition process is announced. They clarified that no decision has been made to suspend the protest based solely on verbal assurances.

During the meeting, the saints highlighted the religious, social, and cultural significance of Bhairana Dham, noting that it serves as a center of faith for a large number of devotees. They insisted that any decisions regarding the land must consider public sentiments and the religious importance of the site.

Hanuman Beniwal, after listening to the saints, remarked that issues related to public sentiments and religious sites should be resolved through dialogue and consensus. He assured the saints that their concerns and demands would be communicated to the relevant authorities.

The saints reiterated their primary demand: the complete removal of Bhairana Dham’s land from the RIICO acquisition process. They stated that their protest will continue as planned until clear and written orders are issued regarding this matter.
