Rahul Gandhi Arrives in Kota for Student Interaction Program

Kota, June 17: Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi arrived in Kota this afternoon to participate in a student interaction program. He landed at Kota Airport around 3:30 PM via a charter plane, where he was warmly welcomed by former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Congress leader Sachin Pilot, and other senior party officials.

A large number of Congress workers were present at the airport to greet Rahul Gandhi. Only those leaders and workers listed in the official roster submitted by the state Congress committee were allowed entry into the airport lounge. As Rahul Gandhi exited the lounge and entered his vehicle, a significant crowd of supporters surged forward to welcome him. This prompted police to intervene, making it challenging to clear a path for his convoy to exit the airport.

From the airport, Rahul Gandhi proceeded to a private hotel on Station Road, where he will engage in discussions with select students. Later, at 5:30 PM, he is scheduled to hold the student interaction program at Dashahara Maidan. Notably, entry to this event will be restricted to students only, with no party workers allowed.

During the welcoming ceremony, Ashok Gehlot shared a light moment with other leaders, including Sachin Pilot and Govind Singh Dotasra, who were seen laughing together as they discussed matters prior to Rahul Gandhi’s arrival. The reception at Kota Airport was attended by several prominent leaders, including former ministers and party officials.
