
Udaipur, March 24: District Collector Namit Mehta conducted an annual inspection of the Girwa Tehsil office and the Panchayat Samiti office on Monday. During the visit, he reviewed various operational aspects, including office procedures, record maintenance, public grievance handling, and the implementation status of various schemes.
At the Tehsil office, the Collector inquired about the progress of land transfers, distributions, land disputes, and other revenue cases. He emphasized the need to prioritize pending cases and ensure timely services for the public. Additionally, he instructed staff to maintain organized records and keep digital records updated.
Following this, the Collector visited the Panchayat Samiti office, where he assessed the progress of various development schemes, including the Swachh Bharat Mission, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and other rural development programs. He directed officials to ensure that the benefits of these schemes reach eligible individuals promptly and that quality is maintained in all tasks.
During the inspection, the Collector also observed the cleanliness of the office premises, employee attendance, record management, and public amenities. He urged officials and staff to uphold transparency and accountability in their work. Present during the inspection were SDM Girwa Avula Saikrishna, Tehsildar Shyam Singh Charan, BDO Ajit Kumar Meena, along with officials and staff from relevant departments.
