Patna, March 1: On the occasion of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s 75th birthday, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary visited his residence to extend heartfelt congratulations and best wishes.
Chaudhary described Kumar as a leader of development, good governance, and a beloved figure among the people. He emphasized that under Kumar’s leadership, the NDA Government has achieved new heights in development and governance. Chaudhary prayed for Kumar’s good health, longevity, and continued strength in public service.
The Deputy CM highlighted that Kumar has rescued Bihar from the dreadful jungle raj that prevailed before 2005. Under his guidance, the NDA government has established the rule of law in the state. Significant advancements have been made in infrastructure, including roads, electricity, water supply, healthcare, and education, bringing the long-neglected state into the mainstream of development.
The NDA government, led by CM Nitish Kumar, has also made historic strides in women’s empowerment. They were the first in the country to reserve 50% of seats for women in panchayat elections, thus honoring half of the population. Continuous efforts are being made to empower women through the Jeevika initiative, which has facilitated over ₹60,000 crores in business. In the past 20 years, around 6 million job opportunities have been created in the state. The NDA government is rapidly advancing Bihar on the path of development, with the state’s growth rate serving as evidence of this progress.
Chaudhary prayed for Kumar’s health, longevity, and energy, hoping he continues to provide new directions for the state’s development.
