
Udaipur, March 24: A group of 100 farmers has embarked on a state-level study tour aimed at enhancing their skills. This initiative is organized by the Watershed Development and Soil Conservation Department, specifically from Rishabhdev (PMKSY WDC Project 07) and Nayagaon (PMKSY WDC Project 06). On March 23, 2026, the tour was flagged off by Additional Chief Engineer Atul Jain and Superintending Engineer Anil Sanadhya.
During the event, key officials were present, including Pradeep Somani, Executive Engineer from the Watershed Development and Soil Conservation Division in Khairwada, and Assistant Engineers Suresh Parmar from Rishabhdev and Dev Kumar Solanki from Nayagaon.
The farmers will visit various agricultural science centers in Jodhpur, Nagaur, Sirohi, Jalore, and Piplantri. They are expected to return on March 27, 2026. This tour aims to expose them to modern agricultural techniques and practices to improve their productivity and efficiency.
